These terms cover the website service provided by Ardoc Media Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in Scotland, number SC842286, registered office 15a West End, West Calder, West Lothian, EH55 8EH. "You" means the business that signs up.

What we provide

We build a website for your business and keep it running. Every plan includes hosting, a security certificate, your domain name, an enquiry form, one small update each month, and regular checks that the site works on phones.

Before you pay

We build the site first and show it to you. One round of changes is included before it goes live. Please send all your changes together. You don't pay anything until you're happy with the site.

Prices and payment

The monthly plan is £49.99 a month. The yearly plan is £499 a year. There is no setup fee. Payment is collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless. Your start date and renewal date are the date of your first payment. The site normally goes live within 24 hours of payment.

Cancelling

Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time by emailing us. The plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for. Yearly plans run for the year you've paid for and renew each year unless you email us to cancel before the renewal date. We don't refund part of a year that has already started.

Ownership

You own your website. When you cancel, we'll help you move it elsewhere if you ask.

Your content

You confirm that you have the right to use the text, photos and logos you give us or ask us to use. If anything on your site is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.

Updates

One small update a month is included, such as changing text, swapping photos or updating prices. Bigger changes, like new pages or new features, we'll price with you first.

Our responsibility

We'll take reasonable care to keep your site online and working. We can't promise it will never go down, or guarantee search rankings or enquiries. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Ending the service

We may stop the service if payments aren't made, or if the site is used for anything illegal. We'll tell you by email first.
